Carers stories

Iqbal and Parveen

I felt I had space in my heart and life for more children, and shared my feeling to my family and most importantly, my sons. Recently we got to know about foster care through facebook and contacted CEAC to know more about it. The Social Worker provided us with the detailed information and we are eager to foster a girl child. The child will get a home and someone to call parents. I’ve done so many different things in my life, but foster caring is by far the best thing I would have ever done.
Carers stories

Rajan and Anita

My wife and I decided to enter into foster care after reading about it in newspaper. It attracted us because recently our children went away to different cities for higher studies, and we were feeling lonely as we love children. We took more information about the process of becoming foster parents on the Toll-free number provided in the newspaper and fortunately we are eligible to become foster parents. Right now we are under the assessment phase of becoming the foster parents and I believe that there’s no particular type of person that makes a good foster carer and I think if you have love to give a child then you can do fostering.
